Live recording from Shindig/Allographic gig with music from Wooden Arms

Hello!

It's been nearly a whole week since the Shindig/Allographic gig and I'm still buzzing. It was such a pleasure to be a part of and tremendous to hear everyone's powerful words set to the mesmerising music of Wooden Arms. I've been listening to their EP pretty much non-stop this week, it's a lovely soundtrack for the early morning mist as I head out for work.

Fortunately they will be gracing Cambridge again next month for a headlining gig on 14th Feb, you can find out more details here. I cannot recommend this band enough. As our hostess Fay Roberts wisely stated: their music makes you want to be a better person.

That is certainly true.

Ok, enough waffling! Here is the recording from my set (complete with awkward unscripted introduction!) with glorious underscoring melodies from Wooden Arms.
The piece is an extract from a spoken word play I'm working on and is currently untitled as it is a character monologue.

I hope you enjoy it.
