I'm very excited to announce that I have 3 new Cambridge gigs coming up in the next few weeks:
Sunday 23rd February - Allographic's "Other Voices" - The Fountain, Regent Street 8pm
Monday 3rd March - Lent Term College Concert - Newnham College Hall 7.30pm
(*Complete with music and wine, what more could you want?!)
Tuesday 4th March - Lunchtime 'Poetry' Pudding Seminar - Principle's Lodge, Newnham College, Newnham Walk. 1.15pm
(*And yes there will be pudding!)
All these gigs are free entry :) ain't that lovely?
Quite pleased to be performing in the beautiful walls of Newnham College, as it is where I have been working for a number of months. I shall be leaving my position there at the end of the month to pursue my poetic interests in London as well as travelling across Europe. The loose plan is to work on my spoken word play in time for festival season and arrive back sometime in July (after working in Turkey for a few months at the end of my trip).
It's fantastically daunting that I am soon to be technically 'unemployed' but (playing to the wayward poet stereotype!), I am thrilled for the opportunity to write, explore and travel. It's a nice kick in the bum.
Anyway, enough waffling. I hope to see some of you at one of my upcoming performances :)
